When Thanos Nestorakos fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bakaliarιοka BC's protests and gave Thanos Nestorakos a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theofanis Paraschakis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panagiotis Vaggelis saved Bakaliarιοka BC from getting behind. Panagiotis Vaggelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veniamin Perdikoglou in the 25th minute of play. Vassilis Roussopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Myroforidis having to interfere.
