The supporters of Khasiα FC booed when Gournai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacharias Tsalikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iosif Kavatzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Diogenis Kalinichtas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantinos Mourouzis struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Anastasios Meimarakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gournai FC. Anastasios Meimarakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thodoris Prigas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kosmas Venetsianos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogenis Kalinichtas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Panos Linardakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Diogenis Kalinichtas made a huge save. Anastasios Meimarakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Mourouzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panos Linardakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogenis Kalinichtas having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Kosmas Venetsianos rounded Gournai FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 36thth minute of the game Kosmas Venetsianos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gournai FC's Diogenis Kalinichtas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Diogenis Kalinichtas managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Khasiα FC's Iosif Kavatzidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Gournai FC's Thodoris Prigas got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Eustratios Kontothodoros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iosif Kavatzidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. 51 minutes into the game, Nikolas Tziortzopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khasiα FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gournai FC the free kick. A collision led to Khasiα FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Anastasios Meimarakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Mourouzis in the 58th minute of play forced Khasiα FC's goalkeeper Anastasios Meimarakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charalambos Patsas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogenis Kalinichtas having to interfere. Gournai FC's Diogenis Kalinichtas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosmas Venetsianos in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes Gournai FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lefteris Spanoudakis who took care of the corner kick. 72 minutes into the match, Gournai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charalambos Patsas came free, but Diogenis Kalinichtas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gournai FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lefteris Spanoudakis was slow to take the kick. During this time Khasiα FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Khasiα FC's corner Lefteris Spanoudakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Diogenis Kalinichtas quite easily take care of the ball. Panos Linardakis scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diogenis Kalinichtas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Panos Linardakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Panos Linardakis notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Gournai FC's Diogenis Kalinichtas. Diogenis Kalinichtas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diogenis Kalinichtas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Linardakis in the 94th minute of play. Kosmas Venetsianos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogenis Kalinichtas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kosmas Venetsianos in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogenis Kalinichtas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Khasiα FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
