Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Theagenis Dimou got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Pιfka FC's Vladimiros Soulios got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ilias Mitsopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilias Mitsopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loukas Karagiotakis having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Takis Mavrikos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pιfka FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spaniαkos the free kick. Takis Mavrikos kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Lambros Tselios sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pιfka FC's Loukas Karagiotakis didn't even have to move. Loukas Karagiotakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Mitsopoulos in the 29th minute of the match. Ilias Mitsopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loukas Karagiotakis having to interfere. Minas Stenos's late challenge caught a Spaniαkos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Minas Stenos helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Pιfka FC got a freekick which was hit by Minas Stenos. Spaniαkos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lambros Tselios in the 43rd minute. The corner led Spaniαkos's Lambros Tselios to fire away a dangerous shot which Loukas Karagiotakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Pιfka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Tatsos to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyriakos Egomitis to make the kick off. A collision led to Spaniαkos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lambros Tselios hit a great ball. Kyriakos Egomitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kyriakos Egomitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Dilberis having to interfere. A collision led to Pιfka FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Themis Kofidis hit a great ball. If Tasos Lazaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Kyriakos Egomitis made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Spaniαkos's Dimitris Dilberis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Loukas Karagiotakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theagenis Dimou in the 70th minute of the match. Dimitris Dilberis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyriakos Egomitis's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Spaniαkos's Ilias Mitsopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimitris Dilberis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Egomitis in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Markos Giannikakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitris Dilberis. Spaniαkos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markos Giannikakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dimitris Dilberis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Egomitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 95 played minutes Pιfka FC got a freekick which was hit by Minas Stenos. 98 minutes into the match, Pιfka FC's Tasos Lazaridis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitris Dilberis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Spaniαkos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
