With a little luck, Spaniαkos's Dimitris Dilberis got control of the ball when Stefanos Balafas tried to sneak it across the goal line. One of BARCA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Spaniαkos:s goal. In the 25th minute, Filippos Tsitsinakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefanos Balafas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Dilberis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The wind increased when Theagenis Dimou made the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timos Koutsoures prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giannis Katrakis's late challenge caught a Spaniαkos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giannis Katrakis helped the player get up and apologised. 67 minutes into the game, one of BARCA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lambros Tselios walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, BARCA's Anastasios Karalexopoulos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filippos Tsitsinakis during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Spaniαkos getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Filippos Tsitsinakis hit a great ball. Dimitris Dilberis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Balafas in the 79th minute of play. Spaniαkos's Dimitris Dilberis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Stavrakis in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Balafas in the 84th minute of play forced Spaniαkos's goalkeeper Dimitris Dilberis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The BARCA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Spaniαkos's performance. The match ended with a win for Spaniαkos.
