Nektarios Ladopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theofanis Charalambakos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nektarios Ladopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Lambis Vedinoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Milonopoulos having to interfere. Larisaikos f.c.'s Theofanis Charalambakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Petalidis in the 25th minute of play. Lambis Vedinoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Milonopoulos having to interfere. After 27 played minutes A.E. MΠΑΜΠΙΝΗΣ got a freekick which was hit by Christos Psichomanis. Diogenis Kouris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st match minute, A.E. MΠΑΜΠΙΝΗΣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paschalis Kommatias to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Lambis Vedinoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Milonopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Zisis Kounoupis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lambis Vedinoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markos Milonopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes A.E. MΠΑΜΠΙΝΗΣ got a freekick which was hit by Zisis Kounoupis. In the last second Markos Milonopoulos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Lambis Vedinoglou in the 46thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lambis Vedinoglou was the one to do the kick off. Diogenis Kouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Milonopoulos having to interfere. Stergios Perdikopoulos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A.E. MΠΑΜΠΙΝΗΣ's Zisis Kounoupis got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Lambis Vedinoglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markos Milonopoulos was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Markos Milonopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogenis Kouris, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Larisaikos f.c.'s Lambis Vedinoglou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markos Milonopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Larisaikos f.c.'s Diogenis Kouris got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Markos Milonopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambis Vedinoglou in the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Lambis Vedinoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larisaikos f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lambis Vedinoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogenis Kouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Milonopoulos having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Larisaikos f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Minas Kalkanis. Lefteris Kladakis hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Alexandros Petalidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Charalambakos having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A.E. MΠΑΜΠΙΝΗΣ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
