Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nikos Papachronopoulos kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Nikos Papachronopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Veniamin Konstantaras was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Charalambos Stathiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alekos Karageorgopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alekos Karageorgopoulos came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Covid FC's Charalambos Stathiadis. But to his dismay, Charalambos Stathiadis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Pavlos Lygos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Covid FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asteras FC the free kick. The supporters of Asteras FC booed when Covid FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavlos Lygos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Asteras FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Michalis Stamatelos hit a great ball. Iakovos Thomakiss short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Alekos Karageorgopoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iakovos Thomakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alekos Karageorgopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charalambos Stathiadis in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alekos Karageorgopoulos saved Asteras FC from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Asteras FC's goalkeeper Alekos Karageorgopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iakovos Thomakis. After 40 minutes, Prodromos Telakoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asteras FC and the Covid FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prodromos Telakoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charalambos Stathiadis in the 41st minute of play forced Asteras FC's goalkeeper Alekos Karageorgopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Covid FC got a corner. Asteras FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charalambos Stathiadis ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Pavlos Thomakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asteras FC's Alekos Karageorgopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Asteras FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charalambos Stathiadis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Iakovos Thomakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alekos Karageorgopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alekos Karageorgopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charalambos Stathiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavlos Thomakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Karageorgopoulos having to interfere. Pavlos Lygos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alekos Karageorgopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Iakovos Thomakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alekos Karageorgopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charalambos Stathiadis in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alekos Karageorgopoulos saved Asteras FC from getting behind. If Pavlos Thomakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pavlos Thomakoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alekos Karageorgopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlos Lygos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charalambos Stathiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alekos Karageorgopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Evaggelos Kakalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Pavlos Lygos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alekos Karageorgopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iakovos Thomakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Covid FC's Pavlos Lygos in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Asteras FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pavlos Thomakoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavlos Thomakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Karageorgopoulos having to interfere. The Covid FC fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Covid FC's Pavlos Thomakoglou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Covid FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
