Spectators: 7771 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nikos Papachronopoulos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Charalambos Stathiadis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Covid FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pavlos Lygos hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes Covid FC got a freekick which was hit by Michalis Nestoroulis. In the 11thth minute of the game Iakovos Thomakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asteras FC's Alekos Karageorgopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charalambos Stathiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alekos Karageorgopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iakovos Thomakis struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Alekos Karageorgopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Covid FC. Alekos Karageorgopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavlos Lygos went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Pavlos Thomakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Karageorgopoulos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Covid FC's Alexis Kapagiannopoulos got a free kick in the 28th minute. Asteras FC's Michalis Stamatelos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Veniamin Konstantaras but with some difficulty. 33 minutes into the match, Asteras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlos Thomakoglou came free, but Alekos Karageorgopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alekos Karageorgopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakovos Thomakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Asteras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prodromos Telakoglou to maneuver through the defense. Iakovos Thomakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iakovos Thomakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Thomakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charalambos Stathiadis to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Charalambos Stathiadis took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Alekos Karageorgopoulos to make any attempt to save it. Sakis Sanidomenos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Karageorgopoulos having to interfere. Asteras FC's Alekos Karageorgopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Lygos in the 63rd minute of play. Evaggelos Kakalos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Asteras FC's Alekos Karageorgopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Asteras FC from getting a goal against them. Charalambos Stathiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Alekos Karageorgopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Charalambos Stathiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alekos Karageorgopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavlos Lygos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asteras FC's Alekos Karageorgopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Asteras FC from getting a goal against them. Alekos Karageorgopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charalambos Stathiadis in the 75th minute of play. When Evaggelos Kakalos came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Asteras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaggelos Kakalos couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Iakovos Thomakis put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Alekos Karageorgopoulos. After having played for 93 minutes, Iakovos Thomakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covid FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iakovos Thomakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
