Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) When Prodromos Telakoglou fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asteras FC's protests and gave Prodromos Telakoglou a yellow card for diving instead. Prodromos Telakoglou hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Nikos Papachronopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Llorenc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Armando Llorenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Papachronopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nikos Papachronopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Armando Llorenc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lefkαdia FC's Armando Llorenc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Papachronopoulos in the 22nd minute of play. Alekos Karageorgopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Codrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Stergios Kefalaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lefkαdia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stergios Kefalaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alekos Karageorgopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stergios Kefalaris in the 37th minute of play. If Marian Codrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Prodromos Telakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telis Katsiabis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Llorenc having to interfere. Telis Katsiabis might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Llorenc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Telis Katsiabis ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stergios Kefalaris to strike the kick off in the second half. Marian Codrea hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Armando Llorenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaggelos Kakalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lefkαdia FC's Armando Llorenc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telis Katsiabis in the 72nd minute of play. Armando Llorenc came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Asteras FC's Evaggelos Kakalos. But to his dismay, Evaggelos Kakalos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nikos Papachronopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Armando Llorenc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nikos Papachronopoulos took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Llorenc. Armando Llorenc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Stergios Kefalaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alekos Karageorgopoulos having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Lefkαdia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Telis Katsiabis came free, but Armando Llorenc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asteras FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
