The audience was convinced that Aggelos Roros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alekos Skarpathiotis was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Alekos Skarpathiotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aggelos Roros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Foiníkion BC's Markos Kouromichelakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Foiníkion BC from getting a goal against them. Louis Tsopakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis Tsopakis was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Akhσmavron getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Markos Karpazidis hit a great ball. When Aggelos Roros came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Foiníkion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Roros couldn't finish the play. Stefanos Sakallieros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Kouromichelakis having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Foiníkion BC got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Tsiligiridis. In the 95th minute Akhσmavron were awarded a corner. Savas Agapidis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Foiníkion BC's goalie and right to Louis Tsopakis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Foiníkion BC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
