After having played for 46 minutes, Menelaos Trichias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Menelaos Trichias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filippos Kastanakoglou during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64thth minute of the game Panagiotis Bobolis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apollon Apollonias's Panos Sioufas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Bobolis in the 65th minute of play forced Apollon Apollonias's goalkeeper Panos Sioufas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panagiotis Bobolis struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Panos Sioufas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paris Saint Germain. Konstantinos Grigoriadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Papachronopoulos in the 95th minute of the match. Periklis Valianatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Konstantinos Grigoriadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
