Alekos Skarpathiotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Bobolis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Akhσmavron's zone, Panagiotis Bobolis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alekos Skarpathiotis came out of the goal and Panagiotis Bobolis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akhσmavron's Alekos Skarpathiotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Bobolis in the 15th minute of play. Menelaos Trichias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alekos Skarpathiotis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When Paris Saint Germain's Menelaos Trichias in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Panagiotis Bobolis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alekos Skarpathiotis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Vassilis Papafotis charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vassilis Papafotis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Vassilis Papafotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Panagiotis Bobolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Panagiotis Bobolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alekos Skarpathiotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Bobolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Alekos Skarpathiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alekos Skarpathiotis came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paris Saint Germain's Menelaos Trichias. But to his dismay, Menelaos Trichias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Louis Tsopakis to make the kick off. Vassilis Papafotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alekos Skarpathiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Paris Saint Germain and the Akhσmavron players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Akhσmavron booed when Paris Saint Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Konstantinidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Stefanos Sakallieros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Louis Tsopakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konstantinos Grigoriadis. Paris Saint Germain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louis Tsopakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Louis Tsopakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Menelaos Trichias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alekos Skarpathiotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Bobolis in the 82nd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Akhσmavron's Louis Tsopakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantinos Grigoriadis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
