Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giotis Kakitsis kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Giotis Kakitsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koulis Varkaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chrysodouli getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aimilios Tomaras hit a great ball. Alexandros Peponis might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stelios Logothetidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandros Peponis ran back to his position shaking his head. If Giotis Kakitsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikos Saraliotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koulis Varkaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giotis Kakitsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute Giotis Kakitsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koulis Varkaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aimilios Tomaras hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Alekos Romanos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Koulis Varkaris skillfully saved the ball. Koulis Varkaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Papazoglou in the 24th minute of play. Alexandros Peponis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Chrysodouli's goal looked a bit too open when Giotis Kakitsis came free, but Koulis Varkaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Chrysodouli's Alexandros Peponis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nikos Saraliotis struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Koulis Varkaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SARONIKOS AIGINAS F.C. Fanis Gaitanis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandros Peponis made a kick off. SARONIKOS AIGINAS F.C's Stelios Logothetidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Peponis in the 51st minute of play. Alexandros Peponis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Fanis Gaitanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelios Logothetidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Fotis Psomiadis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chrysodouli and the SARONIKOS AIGINAS F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Chrysodouli got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Psomiadis. Chrysodouli's Koulis Varkaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giotis Kakitsis in the 82nd minute of play. If Fanis Gaitanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandros Peponis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Logothetidis having to interfere. Koulis Varkaris came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by SARONIKOS AIGINAS F.C's Nikos Saraliotis. But to his dismay, Nikos Saraliotis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Chrysodouli were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
