If Evripidis Moisidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Grigoris Panagakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasos Stelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's goalkeeper Giorgos Ouzounidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nasos Stelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Papadopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Giorgos Ouzounidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Psaridis in the 19th minute of the match. Eugenios Karagiozoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Evripidis Moisidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giorgos Ouzounidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evripidis Moisidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evripidis Moisidis scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgos Ouzounidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Agymnastoi booed when OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Papadopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's zone, Michalis Louvaris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Ouzounidis came out of the goal and Michalis Louvaris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenios Karagiozoglou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgos Ouzounidis having to make a save. After 47 minutes of play, Agymnastoi's Michalis Louvaris made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Ouzounidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Agymnastoi were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christos Papadopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Papadopoulos in the 59th minute of play forced Agymnastoi's goalkeeper Nasos Stelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Agymnastoi booed when OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menelaos Mavroudis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenios Karagiozoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Ouzounidis having to interfere. Michalis Louvaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OLYMPIAKOS SYROY F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Christodoulos Togias 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Evripidis Moisidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evripidis Moisidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giorgos Ouzounidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Evripidis Moisidis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grigoris Panagakos during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th minute, Grigoris Panagakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agymnastoi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
