In the 7th minute Loukianos Loubakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Charalambakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Wiz SP got a freekick which was hit by Apostolikas Tsolakis. Kosmas Nikitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Charalambakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kosmas Nikitas ran back to his position shaking his head. Vassilis Klitorakis kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes, Wiz SP's Thrasivoulos Karantonis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orestis Karapialis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wiz SP reached it. In the 27thth minute of the game Kosmas Nikitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wiz SP's Giannis Charalambakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loukianos Loubakis in the 28th minute of play forced Wiz SP's goalkeeper Giannis Charalambakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kosmas Nikitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th of the match, Marinos Psikos tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Orestis Karapialis got in the way and made a wonderful save. 35 minutes into the game, one of YPERHRVAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Orestis Karapialis, was totally fooled by Wiz SP's Thrasivoulos Karantonis, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Pantelis Papachronis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wiz SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pantelis Papachronis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marinos Psikos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giannis Charalambakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Loubakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, YPERHRVAS's Loukianos Loubakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giannis Charalambakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loukianos Loubakis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. YPERHRVAS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marinos Psikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orestis Karapialis having to interfere. Marinos Psikos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Wiz SP's Giannis Charalambakis got control of the ball when Kosmas Nikitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. YPERHRVAS's Kosmas Nikitas got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loukianos Loubakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Giannis Charalambakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kosmas Nikitas struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Giannis Charalambakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YPERHRVAS. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Alexakis during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 82nd minute of the match Alexis Alexakis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alexis Alexakis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Wiz SP getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Alexis Alexakis hit a great ball. Loukianos Loubakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
