After a defensive mix-up in Mylopotamos FC's zone, Apostolis Kostakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trifon Lazaratos came out of the goal and Apostolis Kostakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonis Koukodimos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trifon Lazaratos came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonis Koukodimos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 26th minute. Antonis Koukodimos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trifon Lazaratos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Apostolis Kostakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marinos Tabakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sokratis Gryparis having to interfere. Timos Mandraflis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sokratis Gryparis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timos Mandraflis made a kick off. Trifon Lazaratos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolis Kostakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marinos Tabakis in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sokratis Gryparis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Timos Mandraflis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
