Akakios Petroulis made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 85thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Dimitris Valassidis would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 86th minute Vaggelis Chiloudakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimos Plitsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimos Plitsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniil Botsaris in the 89th minute of play. Dimos Plitsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Chiloudakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
