Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thanasis Iordanidis started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Theocharis Vidalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stars's Kyriakos Klanakis got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stars's Loukas Bletsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Darlas in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Darlas came free, but Loukas Bletsas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Zacharias Mostratos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pastida Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacharias Mostratos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loukas Bletsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Darlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Vassilis Psaltis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pastida Fc the free kick. 17 minutes into the game, one of Stars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Pastida Fc. Pavlos Stamatakos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Loukas Bletsas. 0-1. Loukas Bletsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Mostratos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Savas Papantoniou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyriakos Klanakis went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fotis Kaklamanakis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Thanasis Iordanidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Makis Koutsis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stars and the Pastida Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Stars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Pastida Fc's Pavlos Stamatakos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Loukas Bletsas. Errikos Perivolakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonis Darlas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pastida Fc's Savas Papantoniou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanasis Iordanidis in the 74th minute of play. Thanasis Iordanidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Savas Papantoniou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lambros Makaronas fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pastida Fc's protests and gave Lambros Makaronas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Lambros Makaronas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanasis Iordanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Savas Papantoniou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanasis Iordanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute Kyriakos Klanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savas Papantoniou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stars's Thanasis Iordanidis got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telis Zacharatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Evripidis Basinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacharias Mostratos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Loukas Bletsas made a huge save. Loukas Bletsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Darlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanasis Iordanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 97 minutes, Thanasis Iordanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thanasis Iordanidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kyriakos Klanakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savas Papantoniou having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pastida Fc walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
