Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eutichios Papadamoulis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eutichios Papadamoulis during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eutichios Papadamoulis hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Xerocabos F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Kyriakos Klanakis scored to the left of an out of position Trifon Peridis, making the score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Eutichios Papadamoulis put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Loukas Bletsas. The supporters of Xerocabos F.C. booed when Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Errikos Perivolakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes Stars got a freekick which was hit by Errikos Perivolakos. Loukas Bletsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Papadamoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 27 minutes into the game, Fotis Kaklamanakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xerocabos F.C. the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Stars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xerocabos F.C.:s goal. Alexis Malezas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eutichios Papadamoulis in the 32nd minute of play forced Stars's goalkeeper Loukas Bletsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thanasis Iordanidis to make the kick off. Xerocabos F.C.'s Trifon Peridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanasis Iordanidis in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Xerocabos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iraklis Papantonakis to maneuver through the defense. Xerocabos F.C.'s Trifon Peridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanasis Iordanidis in the 57th minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Eutichios Papadamoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stars's Loukas Bletsas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eutichios Papadamoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Loukas Bletsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Errikos Perivolakos kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Eutichios Papadamoulis lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Loukas Bletsas. In the 73rd minute, Thanasis Iordanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 75 minutes, Alexis Malezas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xerocabos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Malezas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexis Malezas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Loukas Bletsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Errikos Perivolakos's late challenge caught a Xerocabos F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Errikos Perivolakos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stars's Errikos Perivolakos got a free kick in the 79th minute. Stamatis Pandrakis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Errikos Perivolakos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 86thth minute of the game Eutichios Papadamoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stars's Loukas Bletsas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Eutichios Papadamoulis lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Loukas Bletsas. After a defensive mix-up in Stars's zone, Eutichios Papadamoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loukas Bletsas came out of the goal and Eutichios Papadamoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The goalkeeper, Loukas Bletsas, was totally fooled by Xerocabos F.C.'s Iraklis Papantonakis, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
