After a rather tough play, Othonoí Stadium's Thrasivoulos Psistakis got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Nikos Pantazopoulos got free in front of the goal in the 12th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Nikos Ochtaras was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 17th minute Valerios Liapakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Kaplanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Marousi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thalis Kotsaridis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Pantazopoulos got free with Nikos Ochtaras in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marousi! Akis Tsaknis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikos Ochtaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Pantazopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.
