After a defensive mix-up in OREGON VALLEY FC's zone, Stratos Atmatzidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fotis Tsoukalas came out of the goal and Stratos Atmatzidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stelios Kostis hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Lakis Kaltsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Kostis in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adamantios Vatatzis was the one to do the kick off. Stratos Atmatzidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fotis Tsoukalas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Olympiacos FC! New Olympiacos FC's Lakis Kaltsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamantios Vatatzis in the 80th minute of play.
