Giannis Tachtsidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Veniamin in the 11th minute of play. Lakis Giaourtas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltos Koroneos in the 15th minute of play forced ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's goalkeeper Dimitris Tassoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Saint Neilos Utd getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Savas Tzanetakos hit a great ball. Menios Kamaroulias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Giannis Tachtsidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Marinos Veniamin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Tachtsidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iordanis Giannellis, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Lakis Giaourtas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Saint Neilos Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Lakis Giaourtas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Tassoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 50 played minutes FC Saint Neilos Utd got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Kolas. Iordanis Giannellis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 50th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Menios Kamaroulias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt booed when FC Saint Neilos Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavlos Kazantzatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Tachtsidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giannis Tachtsidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Veniamin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marinos Veniamin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Tachtsidis having to interfere. FC Saint Neilos Utd's Giannis Tachtsidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Veniamin in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Marinos Veniamin notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Saint Neilos Utd's Giannis Tachtsidis. Giannis Tachtsidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lakis Giaourtas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Tassoulis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ReD KnIgHtS oF PoRt's zone, Lakis Giaourtas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Tassoulis came out of the goal and Lakis Giaourtas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
