Alkaios Kosmakos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s Dimosthenis Tzalakostas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Bougatsas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavlos Bougatsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimosthenis Tzalakostas, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bαpes BC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evripidis Nikologiannis was slow to take the kick. During this time MELATES F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Evripidis Nikologiannis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pavlos Bougatsas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iordanis Kourentas charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordanis Kourentas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MELATES F.C. booed when Bαpes BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Kourentas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimosthenis Tzalakostas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Tasos Valassatos managed to get in a good position for a shot. MELATES F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tasos Valassatos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavlos Bougatsas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tasos Valassatos. Panos Stergalas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efthimis Chiotis's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Fotis Papafanopoulos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Panos Stergalas. MELATES F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bαpes BC's Pavlos Bougatsas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Bαpes BC from getting a goal against them. Tasos Valassatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Bougatsas having to interfere. With a little luck, Bαpes BC's Pavlos Bougatsas got control of the ball when Tasos Valassatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonis Antonakos charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonis Antonakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antonis Antonakos hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Panos Stergalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkaios Kosmakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Bαpes BC's Pavlos Bougatsas got control of the ball when Dimosthenis Tzalakostas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s Tasos Valassatos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Bougatsas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bαpes BC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 39 played minutes MELATES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Antonakos. Panos Stergalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efthimis Chiotis in the 41st minute of play.

The wind increased when Dimosthenis Tzalakostas made the kick off in the second half. Fotis Papafanopoulos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Pavlos Bougatsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tasos Valassatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When MELATES F.C.'s Dimosthenis Tzalakostas in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bαpes BC's goalie prevented a goal. Pavlos Bougatsas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimosthenis Tzalakostas's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimosthenis Tzalakostas in the 63rd minute of play forced Bαpes BC's goalkeeper Pavlos Bougatsas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Tasos Valassatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efthimis Chiotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bαpes BC's Pavlos Bougatsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tasos Valassatos in the 76th minute of play. Iordanis Kourentas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimosthenis Tzalakostas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Pavlos Bougatsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tasos Valassatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Bougatsas having to interfere. After 92 played minutes, MELATES F.C.'s Themos Dousis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pavlos Bougatsas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MELATES F.C. reached it. When Dimosthenis Tzalakostas came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the MELATES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimosthenis Tzalakostas couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
