Axni Fc's players were relieved. 12 minutes into the match, Koulis Leventis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Argyris Tevekelis. Axni Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koulis Leventis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Thodoris Kostetsos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thodoris Kostetsos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Argyris Tevekelis made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nestoras Iordanidis sent off a good shot on target. Vrasidas Ntolkas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Koulis Leventis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Tevekelis having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Thodoris Kostetsos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Axni Fc's Argyris Tevekelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Christos Vrinas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Axni Fc's Argyris Tevekelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Nestoras Iordanidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Axni Fc the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vrasidas Ntolkas in the 34th minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's goalkeeper Vassilis Kalaintzidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argyris Tevekelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestoras Iordanidis in the 40th minute of the match. Takis Karatassos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, one of Axni Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thodoris Kostetsos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Argyris Tevekelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ. 47 minutes into the match, Axni Fc's goalkeeper Argyris Tevekelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Vrinas. Koulis Leventis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Argyris Tevekelis having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christos Vrinas was the one to do the kick off. Fanis Persias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Kalaintzidis having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Kostetsos during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Fokas Basinas got a free kick in the 58th minute. Koulis Leventis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argyris Tevekelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Vrinas in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Thodoris Kostetsos notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Axni Fc's Argyris Tevekelis. Argyris Tevekelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 75 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ got a freekick which was hit by Nestoras Iordanidis. A collision led to ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nestoras Iordanidis hit a great ball. Fanis Persias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koulis Leventis in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Argyris Tevekelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ were the better team. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
