Iakovos Kapetanos took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorotheos Kopanos. Dorotheos Kopanos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iakovos Kapetanos in the 6th minute of play forced Olympic Airways's goalkeeper Dorotheos Kopanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Waclaw Jaszyna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dorotheos Kopanos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dorotheos Kopanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Ioannidis in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Olympic Airways getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Giannis Kalogiannis hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Kemal Türünk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorotheos Kopanos skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Drafi's Stratos Poupalos got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Drafi's Waclaw Jaszyna made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorotheos Kopanos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giannis Kalogiannis struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Dorotheos Kourtzidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympic Airways. In the 26th minute, Kemal Türünk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Jaszyna in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorotheos Kopanos saved Olympic Airways from getting behind. After having played for 30 minutes, Giannis Kalogiannis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympic Airways's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Kalogiannis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorotheos Kopanos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waclaw Jaszyna went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Tasos Kavvadias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorotheos Kopanos having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match Kemal Türünk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorotheos Kopanos skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Jaszyna in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorotheos Kopanos saved Olympic Airways from getting behind. Dorotheos Kopanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iakovos Kapetanos in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Drafi were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iakovos Kapetanos to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iakovos Kapetanos in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorotheos Kopanos saved Olympic Airways from getting behind. After 53 minutes Olympic Airways's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kemal Türünk who took care of the corner kick. Drafi's Kemal Türünk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dorotheos Kopanos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th match minute, Olympic Airways was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Kalogiannis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iakovos Kapetanos got free with Dorotheos Kopanos in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Drafi's Stratos Poupalos got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Filippos Samaropoulos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Olympic Airways fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filippos Samaropoulos couldn't finish the play. After having played for 63 minutes, Miltos Vakoufaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympic Airways's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miltos Vakoufaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iakovos Kapetanos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorotheos Kopanos. Christos Kalkavouras kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Olympic Airways's Grigoris Tragas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Drafi's Thomas Nikitaras got a free kick in the 76th minute. Grigoris Tragas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dorotheos Kourtzidis. Drafi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Drafi getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sakis Korakis hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Drafi's goal looked a bit too open when Filippos Samaropoulos came free, but Dorotheos Kourtzidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tasos Kavvadias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dorotheos Kopanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Filippos Samaropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorotheos Kourtzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Olympic Airways's Filippos Samaropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorotheos Kourtzidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Olympic Airways supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Drafi's performance. The match ended with a win for Drafi.
