Giannis Kapopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the game, Vrasidas FC's Cecilio Gustau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giannis Kapopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Evaggelos Anatolakis's late challenge caught a Lakonia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaggelos Anatolakis helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Vrasidas FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaggelos Anatolakis. The Lakonia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vrasidas FC were winning 0-9.

When Gusmão Brito came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Vrasidas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gusmão Brito couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vrasidas FC's Benito Nataniel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giannis Kapopoulos. That made the score 0-14 after 84 minutes of play. In the 90th minute Cecilio Gustau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Kapopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lakonia FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Christodoulos Koutras hit a great ball. The Lakonia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
