Bistroula BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vaggelis Papakosmas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Skepαrion BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Fotis Tsitouris put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Stratos Kapelas. Stratos Kapelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Papakosmas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Marios Giannopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stratos Kapelas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantinos Sifakis to make the kick off. Takis Voutsas made a great header on Skepαrion BC's corner, it was just that Bistroula BC's Stratos Kapelas managed to reach the ball for a save. If Marios Giannopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sofoklis Pergaminos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Sifakis in the 68th minute of the match.
