Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Ingmar Haljasorg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Papakosmas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ingmar Haljasorg, 2-0. Fotis Tsitouris was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Skepαrion BC's Sofoklis Pergaminos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pol Pogba in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fotis Tsitouris in the 26th minute of play forced Alιxandros's goalkeeper Ingmar Haljasorg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingmar Haljasorg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Takis Voutsas. Skepαrion BC's Sofoklis Pergaminos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pol Pogba in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Vaggelis Laganas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingmar Haljasorg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fotis Tsitouris's late challenge caught a Alιxandros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fotis Tsitouris helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Fotis Tsitouris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Alιxandros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dugald Carbery to maneuver through the defense. Skepαrion BC's Sofoklis Pergaminos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pol Pogba in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pol Pogba to make the kick off. Dave Demets hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Fotis Tsitouris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skepαrion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Tsitouris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Alιxandros getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fanis Kerkopoulos hit a great ball. Dave Demets hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Periklis Telidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Alιxandros's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Laganas came free, but Ingmar Haljasorg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Alιxandros's Miltos Sapounopoulos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Miltos Sapounopoulos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Alιxandros protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Miltos Sapounopoulos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alιxandros! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pol Pogba in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofoklis Pergaminos saved Skepαrion BC from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Dave Demets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alιxandros booed when Skepαrion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Laganas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Skepαrion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Barbikas to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Skepαrion BC's Sofoklis Pergaminos got control of the ball when Borys Oryniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alιxandros's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Periklis Telidis in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Pol Pogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Pergaminos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fotis Tsitouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Borys Oryniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Pol Pogba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sofoklis Pergaminos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 95 minutes, Takis Voutsas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skepαrion BC and the Alιxandros players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Skepαrion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takis Voutsas to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pol Pogba in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofoklis Pergaminos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Skepαrion BC were the better team. Skepαrion BC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
