An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Ivanidis in the 11th minute of play forced PLAGIARI's goalkeeper Eugenios Matzavidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sotiris Galanis took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenios Matzavidis. Eugenios Matzavidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Panagiotis Chronidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PLAGIARI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aris Thessaloniki the free kick. Eugenios Matzavidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Galanis in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Ivanidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenios Matzavidis was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Eugenios Matzavidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Galanis in the 32nd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kari Benzema made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sotiris Galanis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugenios Matzavidis. Eugenios Matzavidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Eugenios Matzavidis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sotiris Galanis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 83 minute of play. PLAGIARI's Anestis Katsiaros pulled a muscle in his leg after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Vaggelis Ivanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aris Thessaloniki played a much better game than PLAGIARI and deserved their victory. The PLAGIARI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
