Lakis Mitsotakis got in the 7th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Leonidas Papanikolas handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Stelios Tsimidakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonidas Papanikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakis Mitsotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Stelios Tsimidakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vassilis Kotsias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Panagiotis Sarvanas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vassilis Kotsias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Panagiotis Samanoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Telon got a freekick which was hit by Adamantios Zolotas. Stelios Tsimidakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Greek Voters F.C getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Christos Chatzos hit a great ball. Leonidas Papanikolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lakis Mitsotakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Greek Voters F.C defense, Adamantios Zolotas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonidas Papanikolas. The Greek Voters F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonidas Papanikolas should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Panagiotis Sarvanas struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Vassilis Kotsias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greek Voters F.C.
