An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Sioulas in the 9th minute of play forced KANARINIA FC's goalkeeper Errikos Fotiou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Akinjalν BC's Thanos Sioulas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Errikos Fotiou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 17th minute Thanos Sioulas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errikos Fotiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sotiris Kafkalas in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fivos Thomas saved Akinjalν BC from getting behind. Fivos Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sokratis Paraskevopoulos in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Akinjalν BC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Tachtsidis. After a rather tough play, KANARINIA FC's Adamantios Belevonis got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Errikos Fotiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renos Pefanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Nasos Sklavenitis made a precise shot to the right of Errikos Fotiou. KANARINIA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the KANARINIA FC defense, Nasos Sklavenitis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Errikos Fotiou. The KANARINIA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Errikos Fotiou should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Akinjalν BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for KANARINIA FC. Renos Tzanetos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fivos Thomas. 1-4. After some careless play in the Akinjalν BC defense, Renos Tzanetos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fivos Thomas. The Akinjalν BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fivos Thomas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Akinjalν BC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Giannis Tachtsidis hit a great ball. Andreas Kakavelakis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Loukas Boublis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nasos Sklavenitiss short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Errikos Fotiou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Renos Pefanis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Errikos Fotiou made a huge save. KANARINIA FC's Errikos Fotiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renos Pefanis in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Akinjalν BC's Renos Pefanis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Nasos Sklavenitis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Errikos Fotiou firmly grabbed it by the left post. Giannis Tachtsidis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Renos Tzanetos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Errikos Fotiou made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nasos Sklavenitis sent off a good shot on target. Giannis Tachtsidis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sotiris Kafkalas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fivos Thomas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KANARINIA FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Giannis Tachtsidis 98 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-6. When the match was over Akinjalν BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KANARINIA FC throughout the match.
