With his leg Evaggelos Kapetanidis managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Hangovers FC's Stelios Kyriakiou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 12 minutes, Jerzy Zbikowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Αστέρας Δερβενίου's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerzy Zbikowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Penyo Strelyov in the 13th minute of play forced Hangovers FC's goalkeeper Charis Panaretos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Evaggelos Kapetanidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelios Kyriakiou in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hangovers FC's Stelios Kyriakiou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evaggelos Kapetanidis. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Evaggelos Kapetanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelios Kyriakiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Panaretos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Bikakis in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Hangovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Penyo Strelyov came free, but Charis Panaretos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelios Kyriakiou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Penyo Strelyov made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charis Panaretos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Errikos Delioridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaggelos Kapetanidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omiros Pioukas's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes Αστέρας Δερβενίου's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vassilis Kentikelenis who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hangovers FC's Vassilis Kentikelenis to fire away a dangerous shot which Evaggelos Kapetanidis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Hangovers FC's Tasos Geronimidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaggelos Kapetanidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Charis Panaretos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paris Karaindros in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Hangovers FC's Charis Panaretos got control of the ball when Paris Karaindros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaggelos Kapetanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Kyriakiou in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Penyo Strelyov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charis Panaretos. That made the score 4-2 after 69 minutes of play. In the 81st minute, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Penyo Strelyov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charis Panaretos. Charis Panaretos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Evaggelos Kapetanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errikos Delioridis in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Hangovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Zbikowski came free, but Charis Panaretos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacharias Niniadis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Omiros Pioukas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hangovers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. A collision led to Αστέρας Δερβενίου getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Panos Sourdis hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Vassilis Kentikelenis shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Evaggelos Kapetanidis to catch but Vassilis Kentikelenis was lucky. It became 6-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hangovers FC fully deserved thier win.
