When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timos Velopoulos made a kick off. Nikos Sarkanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodosis Stergiatos in the 50th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vassilis Mantas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikos Sarkanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the game, Chatziantoniou Xanthos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alketas Pesmatzoglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nikos Sarkanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Notis Dimakoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
