When Alketas Kolliopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the IRAKLIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alketas Kolliopoulos couldn't finish the play. In the 11th match minute, IRAKLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodosis Christodoulou to maneuver through the defense. Fanis Geronimidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Menios Tsirkos in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the MICE F.C. defense, Miltiadis Liakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filippos Serametakis. The MICE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filippos Serametakis should have stopped the shot. Theodosis Christodoulou kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Menios Tsirkos got free with Fanis Geronimidis in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Menios Tsirkoss short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Fanis Geronimidis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 46 minutes into the match, Miltiadis Liakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filippos Serametakis. MICE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miltiadis Liakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Menios Tsirkos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, IRAKLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Koronas to maneuver through the defense. Fanis Geronimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikitas Staboulidis in the 55th minute of play. Fanis Geronimidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thymios Athanasiadis went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Fanis Geronimidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christen Kalimanis in the 65th minute of the match. Fanis Geronimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menios Tsirkos in the 66th minute of play. MICE F.C.'s Filippos Serametakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save MICE F.C. from getting a goal against them. Fanis Geronimidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thymios Athanasiadis in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by IRAKLIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iraklis Mortensøn was slow to take the kick. During this time MICE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest.
