Kamari FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Clinton Eastwood scored to the left of an out of position Máté Márton, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alekos Stergakos in the 14th minute of play forced Kamari FC's goalkeeper Máté Márton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beniamin Kluczyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kostas Alexoudis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes Blue Lions FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lakis Seremes who took care of the corner kick. 27 minutes into the match, Kamari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clinton Eastwood came free, but Máté Márton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kostas Alexoudis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Bernat in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Blue Lions FC defense, Minas Makris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Alexoudis. The Blue Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Alexoudis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clinton Eastwood in the 41st minute of play forced Kamari FC's goalkeeper Máté Márton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stathis Klotsidis to make the kick off. Stelios Kastigios kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Máté Márton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clinton Eastwood in the 52nd minute of play. When Minas Makris came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Kamari FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minas Makris couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Blue Lions FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kamari FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Kamari FC's Gonzalo Bernat got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kostas Alexoudis. A collision led to Blue Lions FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Michalis Potamianos hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Stathis Klotsidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Márton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Stelios Kastigios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stelios Kastigios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máté Márton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Beniamin Kluczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kostas Alexoudis was a little too slow when Beniamin Kluczyk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Minas Makris got free with Kostas Alexoudis in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kostas Alexoudis made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Lakis Seremes sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Kamari FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blue Lions FC.
