Alkaios Balouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Briakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The long shot by Valerios Grigoropoulos in the 10th minute really tested Tolis Prinianakis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tolis Prinianakis made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Paraskevas Panagakos sent off a good shot on target. Valerios Grigoropoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Tolis Prinianakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alkaios Balouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Briakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Trifiliakos A.O. booed when ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanouil Kitrinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Tolis Prinianakis managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Emmanouil Kitrinos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alkaios Balouris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thanasis Kavoukis went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the game, Trifiliakos A.O.'s Aris Seletopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alkaios Balouris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, Fotis Briakos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Alkaios Balouris. Alkaios Balouris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charis Chronakis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Fotis Briakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trifiliakos A.O.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fotis Briakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkaios Balouris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the game, Fotis Briakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trifiliakos A.O.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanouil Kitrinos to make the kick off. Fotis Briakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alkaios Balouris made a huge save. Kosmas Tselekidis kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match, Thanasis Kavoukis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alkaios Balouris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanasis Kavoukis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmanouil Kitrinos in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolis Prinianakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fotis Briakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkaios Balouris having to interfere. In the 71st minute Emmanouil Kitrinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes, Fotis Briakos made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Alkaios Balouris tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Fotis Briakos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trifiliakos A.O. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Aris Seletopoulos took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alkaios Balouris. Alkaios Balouris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Tolis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Grigoropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fotis Briakos took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alkaios Balouris. Alkaios Balouris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Alkaios Balouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Briakos in the 88th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Alkaios Balouris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Alkaios Balouris got control of the ball when Fotis Briakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Aris Seletopoulos took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Alkaios Balouris to make any attempt to save it. Trifiliakos A.O. played a much better game than ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ and deserved their victory. The ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
