The crowd rose to their feet as Stavros Prasinos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giannis Karterouliotis. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. If Panos Telakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Revithis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Karterouliotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Gonatas in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Giorgos Kotsios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikos Tournas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Kotsios, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Mariusz Poreda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dhafnospiliá BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AO Chalkidas the free kick. The wind increased when Kostas Revithis made the kick off in the second half. If Stavros Prasinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. Dhafnospiliá BC's Nikos Tournas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Dhafnospiliá BC from getting a goal against them. Sotos Karypidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Tournas having to interfere.
