The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Anestis Tzougarakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Per-Erik Dusett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gerasimos Iakovatos fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Gerasimos Iakovatos a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Erik Dusett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anestis Tzougarakis in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Green Horses's Per-Erik Dusett got control of the ball when Anestis Tzougarakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Green Horses getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vaios Petridis hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Patakos came free, but Per-Erik Dusett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Giorgos Tomaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Erik Dusett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Erik Dusett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anestis Tzougarakis in the 21st minute of the match. Per-Erik Dusett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Tomaras in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Kostas Mitseas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Horses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Mitseas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Erik Dusett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anestis Tzougarakis's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Per-Erik Dusett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anestis Tzougarakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 62nd minute Giorgos Tomaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Erik Dusett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the PAOK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
