A collision led to PaoK Neapoleos getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Pars Uluç hit a great ball. PAOK's Markos Bibis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Psaris in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes PAOK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Kosakowski who took care of the corner kick. Dawid Kosakowski made a great header on PaoK Neapoleos's corner, it was just that PAOK's Markos Bibis managed to reach the ball for a save. After 36 minutes, Panos Barbagiannis made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. PAOK's Markos Bibis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. PaoK Neapoleos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panos Kouretas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
