To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marios Kounetas to strike the kick off in the second half. Markos Bibis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marios Kounetas's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Marios Kounetas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Markos Bibis. In the 58th minute Babbis Tsirkos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Bibis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasios Koupepes in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markos Bibis saved PAOK from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, PAOK's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Kounetas came free, but Markos Bibis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charis Ouzounis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Charis Ouzounis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
