Spectators: 8429 (Terracing: 6323, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) 3 minutes into the match Lakis Traganitis climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Thomas Kortzidis. Thomas Kortzidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efthimis Plitsis went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Peristasi FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alexis Papagiannoulis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peristasi FC's zone, Lakis Traganitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Kortzidis came out of the goal and Lakis Traganitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 15 in the game by Lakis Traganitis from a close distance when the talented Thomas Kortzidis managed to make a qualified save. Peristasi FC's players were relieved. With his leg Thomas Kortzidis managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when RODOS F.C.'s Lakis Traganitis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Efthimis Plitsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of RODOS F.C. booed when Peristasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nontas Vazakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lakis Traganitis in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Kortzidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Orestis Kamaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. RODOS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Orestis Kamaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Kortzidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nontas Vazakos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Saturnino Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Lakis Traganitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RODOS F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lakis Traganitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lakis Traganitis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Thomas Kortzidis made a huge save. In the 38th play minute Lakis Traganitis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Kortzidis. 6-0. Thomas Kortzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakis Traganitis in the 41st minute of the match. Orestis Kamaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Kortzidis having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Lakis Traganitis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RODOS F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zisis Galinos to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Peristasi FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Chrisostomos Kalabokis hit a great ball. When RODOS F.C.'s Lakis Traganitis in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peristasi FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Efthimis Plitsis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thomas Kortzidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lakis Traganitis in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Kortzidis saved Peristasi FC from getting behind. Savas Ravousis scored 8-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Kortzidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Peristasi FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Demis Skaltsas hit a great ball. Thomas Kortzidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lakis Traganitis's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The RODOS F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when RODOS F.C.'s Lakis Traganitis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. RODOS F.C.'s Gilberto Funes was substituted for Savas Ravousis. 70 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s Efthimis Plitsis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Kortzidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Henry Zimmermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. RODOS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Zimmermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Kortzidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Peristasi FC's Babbis Katevatis got a free kick in the 74th minute. The RODOS F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when RODOS F.C.'s Lakis Traganitis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thomas Kortzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Papagiannakoglou in the 84th minute of play. When RODOS F.C.'s Ntinos Papagiannakoglou in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peristasi FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ntinos Papagiannakoglou put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thomas Kortzidis. Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Venieris in the 90th minute of play. Nikitas Kyriazis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that RODOS F.C. were the better team. RODOS F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
