Alexis Papagiannoulis charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexis Papagiannoulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ARXIPAPATZHS FC booed when Peristasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Papagiannoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Skilopnichtis in the 8th minute of play. If Zisis Galinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Alexis Papagiannoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Kostas Skilopnichtis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomas Kortzidis. Thomas Kortzidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Peristasi FC's goalkeeper Thomas Kortzidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostas Psaltis. The supporters of ARXIPAPATZHS FC booed when Peristasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikitas Kyriazis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Kortzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Skilopnichtis in the 33rd minute of the match. Thomas Kortzidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilias Mavrakos went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Menios Missiakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Kortzidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kostas Skilopnichtis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Kostas Skilopnichtis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute Menios Missiakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Kortzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Kortzidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilias Mavrakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match, Zisis Galinos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duloh Ardianto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kostas Skilopnichtis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Thomas Kortzidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Hamdan Al Hajraf was substituted for Menios Missiakos. ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Najim Al Abdullah was substituted for Michal Marciewicz. Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilias Mavrakos in the 83rd minute of play. In the 90th minute, Hamdan Al Hajraf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamdan Al Hajraf took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Kortzidis. Thomas Kortzidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. ARXIPAPATZHS FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
