The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute, Venancio Mino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ntemis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Kyriakos Romanidis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 22 minutes into the match, Chernolνtsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Mino came free, but Ismael Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Chernolνtsa FC's Michalis Aggelopoulos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Tolis Theofanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyriakos Moustoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ismael Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Chernolνtsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Rogalev came free, but Ismael Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Sven Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Chernolνtsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Papoulias. 45 minutes into the match, ntemis's goalkeeper Kyriakos Romanidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolis Theofanidis. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Mino to make the kick off. The supporters of Chernolνtsa FC booed when ntemis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Rogalev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michalis Aggelopoulos took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kyriakos Romanidis. Kyriakos Romanidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 62 minutes into the match, Chernolνtsa FC's Tolis Theofanidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kyriakos Romanidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kyriakos Romanidis came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Chernolνtsa FC's Charis Kofinas. But to his dismay, Charis Kofinas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kyriakos Moustoglou got free with Ismael Otsoa in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Chernolνtsa FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tolis Theofanidis hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Michalis Aggelopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kyriakos Romanidis. ntemis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michalis Aggelopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Chernolνtsa FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
