Lipochσrion's Paris Tochouroglou was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ed Warner in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ed Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenios Benetatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Adamantios Chiotis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stratos Petras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lipochσrion defense, Adamantios Chiotis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stratos Petras. The Lipochσrion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stratos Petras should have stopped the shot. Ed Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stavros Kollias in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Stavros Kollias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ed Warner was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mars Varkaris in the 25th minute of play forced Lipochσrion's goalkeeper Stratos Petras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenios Benetatos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ed Warner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Lipochσrion booed when Backupαδες was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rajmund Lengyel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Backupαδες was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Tsakmakidis to maneuver through the defense. When Nestoras Pinezas fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipochσrion's protests and gave Nestoras Pinezas a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Lipochσrion got a freekick which was hit by Nestoras Pinezas. After a rather tough play, Backupαδες's Konstantinos Tsimilis got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Backupαδες defense, Eugenios Benetatos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ed Warner. The Backupαδες fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Warner should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stavros Kollias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rajmund Lengyel in the 61st minute of play forced Lipochσrion's goalkeeper Stratos Petras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ed Warner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestoras Pinezas in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Stelios Tsakmakidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Rajmund Lengyel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ed Warner made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Stavros Kollias sent off a good shot on target. If Nestoras Pinezas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Stavros Kollias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ed Warner, 1-2. Stavros Kolliass short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Ed Warner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Backupαδες's Achilleas Vaitsis was substituted for Omiros Botitsis. In the 87th minute Rajmund Lengyel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Petras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lipochσrion's Eugenios Benetatos in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Ed Warner saved Backupαδες from getting behind. 97 minutes into the game, one of Backupαδες:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, Lipochσrion's Alketas Karapialis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ed Warner. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lipochσrion had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
