In the 4th minute of the match Chernolνtsa FC got a corner. Argonautes Irakliou's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thanos Bouloubasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Thanos Bouloubasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miltos Kastanis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th minute Stratos Balarinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentinos Adamiadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Miltos Kastanis made a huge save. Ismael Otsoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Jansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Chernolνtsa FC's Michalis Aggelopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Argonautes Irakliou's zone, Valentinos Adamiadis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Kastanis came out of the goal and Valentinos Adamiadis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Chernolνtsa FC's Giorgos Papoulias got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Komaitis in the 23rd minute of play forced Chernolνtsa FC's goalkeeper Ismael Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Mathias Jansen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Mathias Jansen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chernolνtsa FC's Ismael Otsoa. Ismael Otsoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Aggelopoulos in the 31st minute of play forced Argonautes Irakliou's goalkeeper Miltos Kastanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chernolνtsa FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eutichios Vlantis hit a great ball. If Giannis Komaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Santamouris in the 40th minute of the match. Michalis Aggelopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Argonautes Irakliou were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Chernolνtsa FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Thanos Bouloubasis hit a great ball. In the 54th match minute, Chernolνtsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Papoulias to maneuver through the defense. Michalis Aggelopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argonautes Irakliou made a substitution. Panos Kazatzis replaced Paraskevas Eleftheriadis. In the 61st minute Chernolνtsa FC were awarded a corner. Thanos Bouloubasis went to the cornerflag to take it. Markos Santamouris's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ismael Otsoa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Valentinos Adamiadis took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miltos Kastanis. Miltos Kastanis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ismael Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stratos Balarinas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Michalis Aggelopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chernolνtsa FC's Ismael Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Jansen in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolis Theofanidis in the 79th minute of play forced Argonautes Irakliou's goalkeeper Miltos Kastanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chernolνtsa FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Charis Kofinas hit a great ball. Tolis Theofanidis's late challenge caught a Argonautes Irakliou's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tolis Theofanidis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Argonautes Irakliou booed when Chernolνtsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolis Theofanidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Otsoa made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Markos Santamouris sent off a good shot on target. Valentinos Adamiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miltos Kastanis having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Valentinos Adamiadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
