In the 7th minute, AO BEKIANIKA's Marios Likouris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giannis Kopanaras. Giannis Kopanaras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Iason Kroustallis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, stoon city Fc's Lakis Ioannou got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Sebastian Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. stoon city Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolek Turek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, AO BEKIANIKA's Giannis Kopanaras threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marios Likouris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dorotheos Stamatelatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Turek having to interfere. If Marios Likouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iason Kroustallis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Giannis Kopanaras made a huge save. The supporters of stoon city Fc booed when AO BEKIANIKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aggelos Kakouros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Marios Likouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Kopanaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Skonieczny in the 39th minute of play forced stoon city Fc's goalkeeper Giannis Kopanaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Kopanaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Skonieczny in the 40th minute of the match. Lambros Karastamatis charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lambros Karastamatis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes stoon city Fc got a freekick which was hit by Lambros Karastamatis. In the 44th minute of the match Aggelos Kakouros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Kopanaras skillfully saved the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marios Likouris made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Giorgos Koumanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. stoon city Fc's Eleftherios Itoudis was substituted for Telis Nousias. Marios Likouris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giannis Kopanaras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Lukasz Skonieczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Xan Aab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Turek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xan Aab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Turek having to interfere. When Pavlos Tzanabetis fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AO BEKIANIKA's protests and gave Pavlos Tzanabetis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AO BEKIANIKA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Pavlos Tzanabetis hit a great ball. The supporters of AO BEKIANIKA booed when stoon city Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Babiniotis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, AO BEKIANIKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavlos Tzanabetis to maneuver through the defense. Iason Kroustallis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that AO BEKIANIKA were the better team. AO BEKIANIKA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
