Aris Giannopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Kasapoglou in the 3rd minute of play. Lipochσrion FC's Aris Giannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Tobras in the 7th minute of play. Makis Martinis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Stavrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match, Giotis Michailidis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Makis Martinis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 16 played minutes ATLANTIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Demis Vatatzis. 17 minutes into the match, Giotis Michailidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Makis Martinis. ATLANTIS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giotis Michailidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Makis Martinis stood somewhat misplaced when Nikos Stavrou came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. After some careless play in the ATLANTIS FC defense, Nikos Stavrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Makis Martinis. The ATLANTIS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Makis Martinis should have stopped the shot. After 26 played minutes Nikos Stavrou rounded ATLANTIS FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Makis Martinis was a little too slow when Nikos Stavrou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 5-0. Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Nikos Stavrou took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Makis Martinis to make any attempt to save it. Makis Martinis made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Nikos Stavrou sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Giotis Michailidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipochσrion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When Giotis Michailidis came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Lipochσrion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giotis Michailidis couldn't finish the play. The Lipochσrion FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

If Giotis Michailidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lipochσrion FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Aris Giannopoulos had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Eugenios Giannoulis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Lipochσrion FC booed when ATLANTIS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Lebesis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Makis Martinis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fanis Peros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aris Giannopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markos Tobras in the 70th minute. If Nikos Stavrou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aris Giannopoulos made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Minas Nikou sent off a good shot on target. Aris Giannopoulos was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Minas Nikou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Minas Nikou really showed his touch with that goal: 9-1. After 80 minutes of play, Lipochσrion FC's Nikos Stavrou made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Makis Martinis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Makis Martinis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Stavrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Nikos Stavrou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipochσrion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Stavrou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Makis Martinis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
