The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Cuero Buseth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Michailidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stelios Tavoularis got free with Javier García in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veniamin Michailidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Almiron in the 11th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stelios Tavoularis. After 18 played minutes Kipouroi FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Labakis. In the 19th minute Billy Billy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Michailidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Cuero Buseth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O.T.E and the Kipouroi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Cuero Buseth. Charalambos Rokofilos kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Bento in the 33rd minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Javier García to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of O.T.E booed when Kipouroi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Sifakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuero Buseth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veniamin Michailidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Javier García took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Ömer Ongu charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Veniamin Michailidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cuero Buseth in the 69th minute of the match. Cuero Buseth scored 0-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Veniamin Michailidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sofoklis Koutsopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kipouroi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofoklis Koutsopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier García breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Benito Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kipouroi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kipouroi FC's Veniamin Michailidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timos Kazantzou in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. O.T.E walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
