After taking down the ball on Mean Machine's corner Jared Blum fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernando Prassov quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Green Hell F.C.'s zone, Nikos Stasinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Prassov came out of the goal and Nikos Stasinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikos Stasinos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fernando Prassov made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefanos Salepis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Mean Machine players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Green Hell F.C. were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nedim Emekli to strike the kick off in the second half. If Nedim Emekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Green Hell F.C.'s Fernando Prassov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Emekli in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedim Emekli in the 73rd minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Prassov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Christian Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot.
