An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Hechter in the 6th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympiacos FC's Olívio Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. Olívio Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thalis Krommidas in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Krommidas in the 22nd minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Olívio Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Olympiacos FC's Olívio Correia got control of the ball when Donzel Goyeneta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Sakis Paragioudakis in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AEK S.C's Bruno Almeida. In the 25th minute, Sakis Paragioudakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Olympiacos FC's Olívio Correia got control of the ball when Thalis Krommidas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Nemesio Hechter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thanasis Koltsidas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Proedropoulos in the 33rd minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Bruno Almeida in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olympiacos FC's Sakis Paragioudakis. Kevin Carreira made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Olympiacos FC's Sakis Paragioudakis. Olympiacos FC's Olívio Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Krommidas in the 37th minute of play. Thanasis Koltsidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute, Thalis Krommidas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Olívio Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Krommidas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olívio Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Krommidas in the 56th minute of play. AEK S.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Nemesio Hechter scored to the left of an out of position Thanasis Koltsidas, making the score, 1-2. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Paschalis Stavrakos replaced Xosé Lim. 62 minutes in the game, Themos Proedropoulos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Thanasis Koltsidas having to interfere. Olívio Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donzel Goyeneta, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Hechter. With a little luck, AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas got control of the ball when Nemesio Hechter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute Olympiacos FC were awarded a corner. Christos Romanakoglou went to the cornerflag to take it. Olympiacos FC's Themos Proedropoulos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas got control of the ball when Nemesio Hechter tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Kevin Carreira notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Olympiacos FC's Olívio Correia. Olívio Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanasis Koltsidas made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Paschalis Stavrakos sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the game, Nemesio Hechter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympiacos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK S.C the free kick. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nemesio Hechter hit a great ball. Olívio Correia came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by AEK S.C's Donzel Goyeneta. But to his dismay, Donzel Goyeneta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Matías Factor lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olympiacos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! Olívio Correia had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Vaggelis Mitsiou's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. João Francisco de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Olívio Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
