An unexpectedly hard shot by Herkko Hati in the 3rd minute of play forced FC...Musashi's goalkeeper Eerik Ronkainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eerik Ronkainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verneri Lindfors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herkko Hati in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eerik Ronkainen saved FC...Musashi from getting behind. After 8 played minutes FC...Musashi got a freekick which was hit by Heikki Puumala. In the 10th minute, Verneri Lindfors left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ikälä fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jorma Paavola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eerik Ronkainen having to interfere. Ikälä's Aadolf Villanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimi Törmänen in the 27th minute of play. Herkko Hati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eerik Ronkainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC...Musashi getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Heikki Puumala hit a great ball. When Verneri Lindfors came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ikälä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verneri Lindfors couldn't finish the play. Ikälä's Herkko Hati got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Ikälä's Verneri Lindfors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eerik Ronkainen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 played minutes, FC...Musashi's Rikhard Paajanen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aadolf Villanen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC...Musashi reached it. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ikälä's goalkeeper Aadolf Villanen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Ikälä were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Verneri Lindfors was the one to do the kick off. Kai Reimari kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Verneri Lindfors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ikälä's supporters rose to their feet, but Verneri Lindfors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eerik Ronkainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, Ikälä was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorma Paavola to maneuver through the defense. Jimi Törmänen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aadolf Villanen having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC...Musashi's zone, Herkko Hati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eerik Ronkainen came out of the goal and Herkko Hati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Verneri Lindfors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, FC...Musashi's goalkeeper Eerik Ronkainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herkko Hati. FC...Musashi's Eerik Ronkainen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save FC...Musashi from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Verneri Lindfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herkko Hati got free with Eerik Ronkainen in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heikki Puumala's late challenge caught a Ikälä's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heikki Puumala helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes FC...Musashi got a freekick which was hit by Heikki Puumala. Herkko Hati struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Eerik Ronkainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ikälä. Eerik Ronkainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verneri Lindfors in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herkko Hati got free with Eerik Ronkainen in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herkko Hatis short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Eerik Ronkainen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Verneri Lindfors struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Eerik Ronkainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ikälä.
